Dependent to Foreign Child who studies in Thailand Visa 

A father or mother of a foreign child under 20 years old, who holds a visa in Thailand for educational purposes, may apply for a dependent visa. The main requirement is that the applicant has deposited THB 500,000 into a Thai bank account for the past 3 months (or 1 month for the first year). Notwithstanding, one parent may be considered dependent of their child. Furthermore, the spouse of a person holding a visa in Thailand for educational purposes is also eligible to apply for a dependent visa.
